PDE
PDE is responsible for the administration, control and supervision in Primary and Secondary Education of Central Greece. It strengthens the work of teachers through workshops, seminars, conferences and other short-term training activities. PDE coordinates 874 Primary and Secondary schools which serve 67,417 students and 8,937 teachers. In the context of integration of vulnerable social groups (refugees, economic migrants, returnees, etc.) there have been established specialized training and support structures which operate for a number of years.
Universidade Catolica Portuguesa
Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) is a research university characterized by a humanist vision committed to contributing to knowledge and to the well-being of society. Is represented by Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, a Faculty attentive to the contemporary problems and challenges of humanity, trying, through critical and demanding research, in the context of a culture of and for truth, and of a personalist pedagogy, particularly Service-Learning, find ways to the construction of an increasingly just and inclusive society.
Casa do professor
CDP is a social solidarity association of teachers, founded in 1979. CDP’s Training Centre is the largest private training centre for teachers in Portugal. Over a period of three years, it has certified more than 6000 educators of primary, secondary and higher education levels through different training actions in fields like arts, languages, pedagogy, inclusion and evaluation. CDP’s Pedagogical Innovation Centre has fostered the active development of its internationalisation Plan by becoming not only the coordinator but also a partner in several Erasmus+ projects.
BildungsLAB
BildungsLAB is a non-profit organisation in Austria with a small core team and contractors. Their mission is to rethink education and they are committed to inspiring and supporting the journey of learners and education providers. As a laboratory for dynamic education, they develop novel agile methods to promote diversity and enable transfer to promote social and economic inclusion through transformative life-long-learning programs.
Multi Kulti Collective
Multi Kulti Collective is one of the leading Bulgarian not-for-profit organisations working on migrant and refugee integration, community development and human rights since 2011. It operates both on grass-root and policy level. It also works as a social enterprise that has been empowering migrants since 2013. MKC has been the national coordinator of the official portal of the EC on migrant integration EWSI since 2013. MKC’s projects have been featured as social innovations and best practices on national and EU level.
Migrant Integration Center
MIC is an NGO established in 2008 which hosts the Migrant Integration Center in the city of Brasov, Romania, offering integration services for the migrants and refugees and advocating for their fundamental rights to start rebuilding their lives.
COSPE
Established in 1983 in Italy, COSPE is an NGO running International Cooperation activities, currently in 25 non-EU countries, in Italy and Europe. It has an extensive experience in designing, implementing and coordinating projects focusing on inclusion of people with migrant background and on fighting racism and discrimination, including research, workshops and trainings at all levels, including language support activities.
SOS Malta
SOS Malta is a registered voluntary organisation founded in 1991, helping socially disadvantaged groups improve their quality of life by providing support services and opportunities for development and change. The organisation employs 11 staff and approximately 15 professionals, while a pool of volunteers is also engaged.
Advenio eAcademy
AeA is a Further & Higher Education Institution (FHI) based in Malta, licensed in 2013, the first HEI in Malta to provide accredited online programmes. The e-learning platform used is the EBLearn solution developed and maintained by eBusiness Systems, allowing for the combination of self-learning and collaborative learning elements within the online programmes offered.
UTBV
UTBV is a prestigious institution both at a national and international level. The Teacher Training Department has an ongoing MA programme “Teaching, Learning and Counselling in an Intercultural Context”, impact on the local community and various human and material resources, as it prepares at least 1500 students for a teaching career, also providing opportunities for teaching practice and volunteering.
UNWE
UNWE is the eldest and the largest economic university in Bulgaria and Southeastern Europe. UNWE has 8 Faculties, 34 Departments and about 500 lecturers, 300 of them are Professors and Associate Professors. Part of University of National and World Economy research network is the Regional Research Centre on Migration and Refugees established in 2017.
Peñascal
Peñascal is a non-profit Social Initiative entity created in Bilbao in 2011, focusing on comprehensive interventions with vulnerable people in the fields of education, professional qualification, etc. One of its tasks is related to the linguistic reinforcement of the people who come to the center both to learn and to improve their level of Spanish. Besides, Peñascal is an entity authorized to provide young people between 14 and 17 the secondary degree through trainings based on project work. Every year, 200 young people participate, approximately half of whom of foreign origin, learning the language through informal activities. At the same time, it offers the possibility of studying intermediate and basic studies, through innovative pedagogical methods and direct and constant contact with families. Internships and dual training have been part of Peñascal’s way of doing things for more than 30 years.
UNIFI
UNIFI is an important and influential centre for research and higher training in Italy, with 1,800 lecturers and internal research staff, 1,600 technical and administrative staff, and over 1,600 research assistants and doctoral students. The Department of Education, Languages, Interculture, Literatures and Psychology (FORLILPSI), established in 2019, is an interdisciplinary department that aims to conduct research and promote learning in the area of relationships between languages, cultures, minds, behaviors, and education.
UPV/ EHU
UPV/ EHU University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, founded in 1980, is a public university, a researcher, committed to the creation of knowledge, aware of its contribution to the resolution of social challenges. In a global environment of knowledge generation and transmission, it combines its duty to Basque society with a process of internationalisation of open science. It is also among the top 400 universities in the Shanghai ranking, with consolidated and leading research groups in all fields of knowledge. Its community is made up of around 35,000 students, 5,800 teaching and research staff.
